Placement Student – Specialized Purchasing EMEA We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialized Purchasing EMEA Placement Student to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate/CBS segment in UK, Peterborough or Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry. This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Providing dedicated support to one or more sourcing teams within the office. * Working with a group of suppliers to assist on Purchase Order management, cost reduction, capacity planning, quality performance and risk mitigation. * Specific project work in support of functional objectives. * Involvement in Functional Excellence – opportunity to work with other Business Units in the region to help share common processes, tools and resources to better achieve business goals. * Data analysis to support Purchasing KPIs and specific project requirements. * Engagement with other functions, including Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance and Engineering. QUALIFICATIONS To be successful in this role you will need the following: * Working towards a degree – preferably Engineering or Business related (and not graduating this academic year). * IT Skills. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Focus on details.
