WHO YOU ARE We are looking for passionate self-starters eager to take on real-world challenges and drive meaningful impact. As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside traders and quantitative researchers to develop models that identify alpha, execute trading strategies, and analyze market behavior. Throughout the 10-week program, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing directly to XY Capital’s success by deepening our understanding of financial markets and enhancing our trading capabilities SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Studying for an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD in a STEM subject * Suitable for students graduating in Summer/Winter 2027 or Summer 2028 * Excellent understanding of research methodology and techniques * Proficiency in Python - including Data Structure Engineering, Pandas, Sci-Kit Learn, XG Boost, Tensor Flow and/or similar libraries * Any ADRs/GDRs, dual-listed securities, US ETFs or EMEA equities trading/research experience would be a bonus * Experience working as a part of a small, highly collaborative team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * A proactive, ambitious, tenacious, team player * Proficiency in English is a must WHY WORK WITH US * Fully stocked pantry * Invited to join weekly trading and research meeting with a chance to present your ideas * Be considered for a graduate role following the internship INTERVIEW PROCESS All applications will be carefully reviewed and if you are selected to proceed to the interview process it will follow the below stages: * Online numerical, analytical and programming test * 1 x Technical interview with team members * 1 x Final interview with management Deadline: 30 Oct 2026 (Friday) 9:00am London Time
