Graduate Software Developer 2027 Location:  Birmingham, Bristol, Inverness, London, Manchester, Treforest – Cardiff, Woking  Intake Date: April  Salary: £35,000  About the job you’re considering As a Graduate Software Developer at Capgemini, you’ll join dynamic scrum teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for a diverse client base across public and private sectors. You’ll write clean, tested code, support live systems, and contribute to enhancements that make a real impact.  Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.  If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:   identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)  Your role You’ll work as part of a scrum team to develop and maintain software solutions.  You will use your software engineering passion to write code that makes a difference across a varied client base, which includes both the public and private sectors.   You’ll support live systems and applications, implementing bug fixes and exploring improvements through code changes.  You’ll take responsibility for components of a much larger system, writing code to complement that which is being developed by colleagues.  You can bring your whole self to work. To be eligible for this programme, you must have obtained, or be studying towards, a minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent qualification). If you are currently studying, you must have completed your degree prior to your programme start date.  We recognise that mitigating circumstances can have an impact on academic performance.
