Role Overview We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team, working approximately 20 hours per week. This role is ideally suited to a university student studying Accounting & Finance, or a related subject, who is looking to gain practical finance experience alongside their studies. The successful candidate will provide day to day support to the Finance team, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable, invoice processing and general finance administration. Key Responsibilities Assist with day to day Accounts Payable activities Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to or escalate queries as appropriate Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner Check invoices and supporting information for completeness and accuracy Assist with maintaining accurate supplier and accounting records Support the resolution of invoice and payment queries Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required Dealing with Monthly employee’s expenses and reporting Qualifications & Experience Currently studying towards a degree in Accounting & Finance, Finance, Business or a related subject Keen interest in developing practical experience in Finance and Accounting Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Organised, reliable and able to manage tasks effectively Good written and verbal communication skills Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel Additional Information This is a part time position of approximately 20 hours per week, designed to provide valuable practical experience alongside university studies.
